Outdoor Adventures

Each rank in Cub Scouting has Adventures that take Cub Scouts outdoors.  The outdoors can be urban or rural it does not need to be a remote location.  From a one foot hike to a five mile hike Cub Scouts learn about their natural surroundings.

Camping

When a child and his family join Cub Scouting, they join an organization that values fun and excitement in experiencing the outdoors.

Each Cub Scout Pack is encouraged to provide its youth members with enriching, positive outdoor experiences.

Camping at the Cub Scout level introduces youth to the outdoors and develops skills at an age-appropriate level that will later be applied more thoroughly as part of Scouts BSA.

Pinewood Derby

The pinewood derby is one of the most fun events in Cub Scouting. Scouts get to work with parents and leaders to design, create, and race unpowered wooden cars against fellow Cub Scouts. The top finishers will be invited to one of the regional Pinewood Derby events.

Fundraising

We do one big fundraiser a year and that is our annual Popcorn sale.  Melissa Williams is our adult in charge of popcorn along with her husband Jay.  They do an awesome job. We have Show and Sells, Take orders and online sales. This will all be explained to you at our Popcorn kickoff on September 26th. This fundraiser funds our Pack for the year and gives each scout a chance to put some money in their Scout Account to help pay for activities during the year and for summer camp. Each family will be asked to sign up for some weekend Show and Sells. So be ready to sign up when the sign up sheets are available.
